Taking Flight

Taking flight was our moto of last AMAL session. We took the flight and the amazing fellowship completed on 18th Oct. It seems like yesterday, I was so excited for the Amal fellowship program and now it’s over, it’s wrapped and when it’s over, I decided to reflect back on the last session and how I aim to use this fellowship lessons to succeed in life.

Amal made me realize what I am capable of and how can I handle all the things with grace. The time I managed during Amal fellowship is what I am proud of. Alhamdulliah yesterday my result came and I scored 3.95/4.0 GPA in my final bachelor’s semester and that too when I had to manage fellowship at the same time. The Amal Fellowship gave me the ability to become more active and appreciate my worth. My abilities were really polished by Amal Fellowship and I find myself more optimistic and a positive individual.

I was really excited for the last session and at the same time trying to hold on to the moments that I was living. We played scavenger hunt, in which we made two teams. Team A and Team B. Within 20 minutes, each team had to guess 25 riddles. Every participant had to take a selfie with the object that could be the potential answer to the riddle, along with finding an answer to the riddle. The last session helped me realize that I must help my mom in the house chores, before it gets too late :p.

I aim to use all the learnings that I learnt during the whole fellowship like juststart concept, amal values, productivity techniques to make them my habit even after the fellowship. I have already taken the initiative by making a whatsapp group of people who value others and loves to interact so that we will remain in contact even after fellowship. We aim to have meetings and I will share the link to the Amal batch group so that anyone can join.

The journey has been a roller coaster of a ride with ranting about the feedbacks and project works but still managing to do it in the end. Can’t thank Amal academy enough to give me such resilience and resistance by their project works and in the end I have managed my exams, Final year project and Amal fellowship at the same time, this is something I am really proud of.

I will always remain grateful to Amal Academy for this opportunity where I learned a lot about teamwork, communication, leadership, problem-solving, networking, entrepreneurial mindset, Amal’s principle of success. Different mindsets and techniques to improve productivity and of course for these some beautiful souls.

Thank you Amal Academy!
